"A field guide which documents all the 38 species of wild orchids known for Pavia and its county. Ten years of field work and researches brought to a detailed knowledge of the  distribution for the species (shown in previously unpublished distribution maps) and to the discovery of 6 new species for the area. Six walking itineraries are also proposed, so that the book wouldn't be just a theoretical work, but also a practical tool to meet and enjoy the orchids.
